Abstract

In the present study, we propose a new estimator for population mean in the case of stratified random sampling using Singh et al. (2007) and Kadilar and Cingi (2005) estimators when the information is available in form of of attributes under non-response. Expressions for the mean squared error ( MSE) of the proposed estimators  are derived up to the first degree of approximation. The theoretical conditions have also been verified by a numerical example. It has been shown that the proposed estimators are more efficient than the traditional estimators.
