Abstract
A variable quality characteristic is assumed to follow the new weibull-Pareto distribution. Based on the evaluated percentiles of sample statistic like
mean, median, midrange, range and standard deviation, the control limits for the
respective control charts are developed . The admissibility and power of the control
limits is assessed in comparison with those based on the popular Shewhart control
limits.
