Abstract


This  paper  discusses   on  the  estimation  of  a finite  population  mean  using  a  two-phase  sampling mechanism  in the presence of two auxiliary variables. Under  the usual  predictive  approach described by Basu (1971), attention is focused on the creation of a general class of estimators.
